Battle the 12th Man:

• Preplay confusion-when rattled on the road, question marks will replace the button icons for receivers during preplay and squiggly lines will replace the on-field routes. The more rattled you are the more severe these effects will become.
• I can’t hear you-As the home crowd picks up intesity, the visiting players will have a very tough time making adjustments on offense. Also, the controller will start to rumble in the critical moments which can also make it difficult to maintain your concentration
• Become the Toughest…As you win more games at home, you can move up in the list of Toughest places to play. THen, as the home team on defense, you can make the preplay even more difficult for your opponent by pumping up the crowd at the right times.
• Quarterback Quiz-After throwing a pick, you’ll be asked to identify the defense you just faced to regain your composure. You can cycle through a set of still frames to help you out. If you pass the quiz without any help, your composure will be completely restored to where it was before the pick. If you need some help, that’s ok. It just means that you will only regain a percentage of your composure you just lost. But if you get it wrong your composure will drop a little more so try to pay attention.
• Ice the Kicker-Call a timeout before your opponent kicks a big FG late in the game. your opponent trying to kick will then feel added pressure because of the lower camera angle, heartbeat audio, controller rumber, and an all new “iced” kick meter.
• Interactive Timeouts-Timeouts do much more than just stop the clock this year. Choose between 12 strategies that last for the entire drive, including an option to ignore the crow. Each of these strategies will have unique gameplay effects and they are linked so that each offensive strategy has a counter strategy on defense.

• Smart Routes-Now you can’t blame the receiver. Smart Routes make the receiver aware of the first down line and adjust his route accordingly.
• Bobble Catches-Finally the receivers can juggle the ball while catching it, and if they’re hit they will likely drop it.
• Better Passing Control-Improved control over specific types of passes like fades and the ablity to better place a pass when reading the defense. Improved leading allows your receivers to run under the deep balls.
• Post-Play Continuation-More realism to the post play as players now react to dropped passes and loose balls as if they play might still be alive, they help each other up ad do a better job of avoiding one another.
